Job Title: Java Developer Department: ATCI Drive Tribe About Business line/Function: Arval Drive Engineer / Developer **Position Purpose** Engineer / Developer is a member of the development team who is responsible for the development of applications. As a Java & Angular Developer, they will be responsible for developing and maintaining the applications using Java and Angular for both internal and external users. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional IT and Business teams to deliver robust software solutions that meet business needs. The ideal candidate needs to be proficient in both front-end and back-end development, Oracle PL/SQL, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing for high performance, scalable applications Functionally, they work and allocates to one of these subjects: Quotation or Account Management Or Finance or Events Management Maintenance, Fine etc..) or Insurance & Body Repair or Vehicle, Logistics & Remarketing. **Responsibilities** Direct Responsibilities - Develop the need for the squad/product - Delivery of solutions (predominantly code) to a high standard in line with requirements, measured by minimal defects - Contribute actively to the process of continuous improvement and innovation Contributing Responsibilities - Contribute to Arval IT Develop - Taking an active approach to development of higher quality and increased maintainability of business solutions. - Active participation in stand ups and other sprint activities to support other squad members in addition to performing their own work in full to a high standard. - Ensuring that unit testing and other activities to minimize defects and improve code quality are being performed. **Business And/or Technical Skills** - Develop software that meets development and security standards, while incorporating data and security objectives - Optimize existing code and improve its maintainability - Integrate software packages and in the definition of settings - Implement and/or create a test strategy Install the product deployment tools in the different environments - Stay updated on the latest technological and innovations and best practices in development - Upgrade and/or help to upgrade the documentation - Help in implementing improvements to his/her activity and maintaining technical know-how for legacy systems: Participate in internal and external developer networks to communicate and share best practices **Specific Qualifications** COMMON BASE TOOLS - IT Programs Conception - Applied Architecture - API Testing COMMON BASE METHODOLOGIES - Agile - Scrum - KANBAN - Devops **Technical Skills** - Knowledge of programming languages and front-end + backend development technologies (Java, Angular, REST APIs and others) - Database knowledge in SQL Server, and Oracle - Strong DevSecOPS experience **Behavioral Skills** Ability to collaborate / Teamwork Adaptability Creativity & Innovation / Problem solving Ability to deliver / Results driven Ability to understand, explain and support change Education Level: Bachelor Degree or equivalent Experience Level: Atleast 2 years of experience Location: Bangalore **About BNP Paribas Group** BNP Paribas is the European Union’s leading bank and key player in international banking.
