**Role & responsibilities** - Lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade full-stack applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Angular, and related technologies. - Develop responsive front-end components and scalable back-end services to support business-critical applications. - Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and third-party enterprise systems. - Drive application modernization initiatives by transforming legacy Java applications into modern Spring Boot and microservices-based architectures. - Lead cloud migration and transformation programs on AWS, including containerization, re-platforming, scalability improvements, and performance optimization. - Design and optimize database schemas, data models, and complex SQL queries to ensure data integrity and application performance. - Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve technical issues across complex application and integration environments. - Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and software quality guidelines through code reviews and technical governance. - Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to automate build, deployment, and release processes. - Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions. - Contribute to technical architecture, solution design, and cloud transformation strategies. - Mentor and guide development teams, providing technical leadership and fostering engineering excellence. - Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, AI-enabled development tools, and industry best practices to improve productivity and innovation. **Preferred candidate profile** - 8-10 years of experience in Java Full Stack development, delivering enterprise-scale applications and digital transformation initiatives. - Strong expertise in Java technologies (Java 1.6 to Java 21), Spring Framework, and Spring Boot-based microservices. - Hands-on experience with Angular and modern front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript. - Proven experience designing, building, and integrating RESTful APIs and enterprise applications. - Strong background in application modernization, including legacy system transformation, microservices adoption, containerization, and cloud migration. - Experience working with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application architectures. - Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and release management processes. - Proficiency with build and dependency management tools such as Maven and Gradle. - Strong expertise in relational databases, SQL optimization, schema design, and data modeling. - Experience supporting both legacy Java applications and modern distributed microservices environments. - Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams. - Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and drive successful project delivery. - Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, monitoring and observability tools, and cloud-native architecture patterns is highly desirable. - Familiarity with AI-powered development tools and intelligent engineering practices is an advantage. - Telecom domain experience and exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies are preferred.
