**Java / Kotlin Engineer Global Remittance Platform** **Role Summary** We are seeking a highly skilled**Java/Kotlin Engineer**to design, develop, and support scalable, high-performance applications for a**Global Remittance and Cross-Border Payments Platform**. The candidate will be responsible for building secure, reliable, and resilient payment services that enable real-time money transfers, transaction processing, compliance checks, and partner integrations across multiple countries. **Key Responsibilities** - Design and develop microservices using**Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and REST APIs**. (Mandatory) - Build and maintain payment processing, remittance, settlement, and transaction orchestration services.**(Good to have)** - Integrate with banking systems, payment gateways, SWIFT, ACH, and third-party financial partners.(**(Good to have)** - Develop scalable APIs for global money transfer and digital payment solutions.**(Good to have)** - Ensure high availability, performance, security, and regulatory compliance of payment applications. - Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support. - Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and Business teams in an Agile environment. - Support CI/CD implementation and cloud-native deployment strategies. **Required Skills** - Strong experience in**Java/J2EE and Kotlin**development. - Expertise in**Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful APIs, JSON, and Web Services**. - Experience with**Oracle/PostgreSQL**, SQL optimization, and NoSQL databases. - Knowledge of**Kafka/Event-Driven Architecture**is preferred. - Experience with**Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes**, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure). - Strong understanding of secure coding practices and payment transaction processing. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies **Domain Experience** **(Good** **to have)** - Global Remittance / Cross-Border Payments - Digital Banking & Wallets - Payment Processing, Settlement & Reconciliation - AML, KYC, Sanctions Screening, and Compliance - SWIFT, ISO 20022, ACH, RTP, SEPA or Card Payments **Experience** - 5 + years of software development experience. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
