Java Kotlin Fullstack Engineer

Job description

Role Summary We are looking for a highly skilled **Fullstack Engineer** with strong experience in building scalable, cloud-native applications using **Java/Kotlin** . The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in designing and developing **REST and GraphQL APIs** , working with **AWS cloud services** , and implementing **event-driven architectures** using **Kafka or Pulsar** . Exposure to **Node.js and React** is highly desirable, as the role may involve contributing across the full stack. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using **Java and/or Kotlin** . - Build and enhance **RESTful and GraphQL APIs** for enterprise-scale applications. - Develop microservices-based solutions with a focus on performance, reliability, and security. - Implement event-driven architectures using **Kafka or Pulsar** . - Design and optimize data models, integrations, and backend workflows. - Deploy and manage applications on **AWS** using cloud-native services and best practices. - Contribute to frontend development using **React** and **Node.js** when required. - Follow Agile development practices and drive engineering excellence through automation and continuous improvement. Required Skills - Strong programming experience in **Java and/or Kotlin** . - Hands-on experience building **REST APIs** and **GraphQL services** . - Expertise in **Spring Boot** , Microservices, and distributed systems design. - Experience with messaging/event-streaming platforms such as **Apache Kafka** or **Apache Pulsar** . - Strong knowledge of **AWS** services and cloud-native application development. - Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases. - Familiarity with containerization technologies such as **Docker** and orchestration platforms like **Kubernetes** . - Strong understanding of design patterns, system scalability, and performance optimization. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. Preferred Skills - Experience with **Node.js** and **React.js** . - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code. - Familiarity with AI-assisted developer tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar.
