The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Core Java, Spring, and Spring Boot, along with strong knowledge of relational databases. You should have proven experience in technical leadership, solution architecture, and mentoring development teams. In this role, you will work within an Agile product development environment, taking end-to-end ownership of technical solutions—from architecture and design through development, deployment, and production support. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring the delivery of robust, high-quality solutions aligned with business goals. You will be expected to leverage AI tools in your daily development activities to enhance productivity, code quality, and efficiency. A willingness to learn, adopt, and adapt to emerging AI-driven development tools is essential. **Responsibilities:** Technical leadership, feature development ownership, Agile collaboration, Code quality and reviews, Mentoring and team development, DevOps and release support, stakeholder communication, continuous improvement. **Must-Have Skills:** - Core Java Excellence: 8–10 years of strong experience in Java/J2EE development, with deep expertise in Java 8+ features (Streams, Lambdas, Functional Interfaces), Collections, and Multithreading. - Spring Ecosystem: Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security. - Architecture & APIs: Proven experience in designing secure RESTful APIs and building scalable Microservices architectures, with a strong understanding of system design, performance, and scalability. - Database Mastery: Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL). Ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance. - Design Principles: Solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and common GoF Design Patterns. - Testing: Hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) using JUnit, Mockito, or similar frameworks. - Cloud & DevOps: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Messaging & Integration: Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. - Observability & Performance: Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and performance tuning using tools like ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk. - Security: Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2, JWT, and secure coding practices. - Tools & Processes: Familiarity with build tools (Maven/Gradle), version control (Git), and Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence). - AI Adoption: Experience or willingness to leverage AI tools in development workflows to improve productivity and code quality. **Good-to-Have Skills** - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Team player working in the Agile ambit.
