**Java + Scala Developer** **Locations:** Bangalore | Chennai | Kochi **Experience:** 810 Years **Employment Type:** Full-Time Job Overview We are looking for a highly skilled **Java + Scala Developer** to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building enterprise-scale backend applications using modern Java and Scala technologies, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development practices. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance distributed systems while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using **Java and Scala** - Build and support **microservices-based architectures** - Develop and integrate **RESTful APIs** - Implement event-driven solutions using **Apache Kafka** - Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability - Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases - Develop and deploy applications using containerization technologies - Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and production support - Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines - Follow software engineering best practices and coding standards **Required Skills** - Strong experience in **Java (8/11/17 or later)** - Hands-on experience with **Scala** - **Spring Boot** - **Microservices Architecture** - **RESTful APIs** - **Apache Kafka** - SQL Databases: **PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL** - NoSQL Databases: **Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis** - **Docker & Kubernetes** - **Git** - **Maven or Gradle** - CI/CD tools such as **Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps** - Strong Linux/Unix environment experience
