**Role & responsibilities** **Job Requirements** - Enhancing image and create aspiration for the brand by creating design language that aligns with the vision. - Developing a comprehensive understanding of product trends and customer requirements based on market research. - Proposing effective and relevant new product requirement based on market & consumer research for the brand. - Understanding the jewellery design-aesthetic help build a differentiated product portfolio based on the consumer segment, occasion, price band category. - Interacting with NPI, Marketing, Merchandising, Retail & ISCM team to build relevant products. - Bring innovation to the product portfolio by providing solutions for existing problems or create opportunities for the future. - Regular market and consumer research to stay updated of the latest offerings and requirements. Regularly share the learnings with the team. - Creation of products based on the design stories, market requirement based on merchandise input. - High level of 3D visualisation & technical understanding. - Develop new insights and convert trends into viable designs and high GC products. - Adherence to design calendar - number of designs / number of collections. - Adherence to timelines to ensure that the collections are released on time. - Design creation, pdis making, cad to final proto development, coordinating with vendors. - Partnering with NPI team for prototyping. - Coordinating with NPD, NPI, factory for display of collections. - Content creation for marketing, VM and L&D teams on new product launches based on the design inspiration. - Supporting marketing as and when required. - Ensure 100% customer satisfaction and maximization of opportunity. - Mentoring interns. **Work Experience** - Graduate / Post Graduate from NIFT/NID or relevant Institutes. - 7-9 Year experience in the areas of jewellery Design, Manufacturing & New product development. - Should know the required designing skills/softwares – Procreate, Corel to translate concepts to final designs. - Prior experience in customized designing is preferable. - Should be willing for outstation travel for work. - Should be inquisitive and be willing to learn. - Should take ownership of tasks/projects assigned. - Drive for Results: Hands on approach, to be proactive. - Interpersonal Effectiveness: Understands the business requirements, has long term perspective, involves and engages others, respects value of individual contribution of various stakeholders including vendor partners. - Customer Focus: Able to anticipate customer needs for existing and potential customers. - Analytical mindset: Ability to synthesizing knowledge from various sources and constantly updates the knowledge base. - Dealing with Ambiguity: Should be able to handle situations where clarity of work is in question. - Team player: The most important attribute in the person to be a part of the team that is close knit & open to welcoming new team members.
