Job description

**Jira Administration:** - Configure and administer **Jira projects**, workflows, screens, issue types, fields, and permissions. - Create and maintain Jira schemes, workflows, and automation rules. - Manage user accounts, groups, roles, and access controls. - Configure notifications, SLAs, and custom fields as required. **Process and Workflow Management:** - Design and implement Jira workflows aligned with business processes. - Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into Jira configurations. - Support **Agile, Scrum, and Kanban project methodologies.** - Optimize existing workflows and recommend process improvements. - Develop and maintain Jira dashboards, filters, and reports. - Create customized reports for project tracking, resource management, and executive reporting. - Support metrics and KPI reporting requirements. **Integration and Automation:** - Configure and support integrations with **Atlassian tools** and third-party applications. - Implement **Jira automation** rules to improve operational efficiency. - Assist with API-based integrations where required. **System Maintenance and Support:** - Monitor **Jira performance** and troubleshoot issues. - Perform system upgrades, testing, and configuration changes. - Provide user support and resolve Jira-related incidents and requests. - Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures. **Required Skills:** - Strong experience with Jira Administration (Cloud and/or Data Center). - Experience configuring workflows, schemes, permissions, and custom fields. - Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies. - Experience with Jira Automation and reporting. - Understanding of Jira APIs and integrations. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. **Preferred Skills:** - Experience with **Atlassian tools** such as **Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, or Jira Service Management.** - Knowledge of **scripting tools** (Groovy, ScriptRunner, REST APIs). - Experience with marketplace apps and plugins. - Atlassian certifications are a plus. **Educational Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. **Key Competencies:** - Analytical thinking - Problem-solving - Attention to detail - Customer-focused approach - Team collaboration - Process improvement mindset
