Job description

**Role Summary** Own and optimize the demand planning function for assigned categories. Drive accurate forecasting through advanced analytics, cross-functional alignment, and continuous improvement initiatives to support business growth and supply chain resilience. **Key Responsibilities** - **Forecast Management:** Lead short-term and mid-term forecasting cycles using statistical models and AI/ML techniques for improved accuracy. - **Consensus Building:** Facilitate S&OP and IBP meetings with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply teams to align on demand assumptions. - **Accuracy Improvement:** Develop and execute forecast accuracy improvement plans with measurable KPIs. - **Analytics & Insights:** Analyze demand variability, market trends, and promotional impacts; provide actionable insights to stakeholders. - **Scenario Planning:** Support risk analysis and demand simulations for new product launches and market shifts. - **System & Process Enhancement:** Drive adoption of advanced planning tools, ERP, and digital dashboards (Power BI/Tableau). - **Leadership:** Mentor junior planners, foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, and champion continuous improvement. - **Reporting:** Prepare executive-level demand summaries for S&OP and leadership reviews. **Qualifications** - Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. - Professional certification in Demand Planning/Supply Chain (APICS CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent) preferred. **Technical Skills** - Expertise in forecasting tools, ERP systems, and advanced planning platforms. - Strong proficiency in analytics, statistical modeling, and predictive algorithms. - Hands-on experience with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau). - Deep understanding of S&OP and Integrated Business Planning processes. **Soft Skills** - Strategic thinking and decision-making under uncertainty. - Strong communication and influencing skills across functions. - Leadership and coaching capabilities to build high-performing teams.**Role & responsibilities** **Preferred candidate profile**
