We are seeking a Quality Analyst - SDET with approximately 3 years of QA experience, including at least 3 years of strong hands-on automation experience in Selenium and REST API automation. The ideal candidate will design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for both UI and API layers, integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, and drive quality engineering best practices in Agile environments. **What You’ll Do** **Test Strategy & Planning** - Define overall test strategy across functional, UI automation, API automation, regression, and integration testing. - Develop release-level test plans and quality gates. - Define entry/exit criteria and automation roadmap. - Ensure alignment with Agile/Scrum methodology. **Automation Governance** - Oversee Selenium automation framework health. - Improve automation coverage and reduce manual regression. - Ensure REST API automation coverage. - Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines. - Reduce flaky tests and improve test stability. **Functional & Domain Oversight** - Ensure complete test coverage for complex workflows and integration flows. - Support SIT, UAT, and production validation. - Maintain strong requirement-to-test traceability (RTM). **Defect & Risk Management** - Lead defect triage meetings. - Analyze defect trends and identify systemic issues. - Ensure minimal production defect leakage. - Define risk mitigation strategies for high-impact releases. **Stakeholder Communication** - Act as primary QA point of contact for Product, BA, and Engineering teams. - Provide quality metrics and dashboard reporting. - Present automation progress and release readiness. - Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD optimization. **TMC / Travel Domain Advantage** - Experience in Travel Management Company (TMC) environments. - Understanding of booking lifecycle platforms and mid-office/back-office systems. - Knowledge of ticketing, exchanges, refunds workflows. - Experience with reconciliation and financial validations. - Familiarity with GDS integrations (Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport). **What We’re Looking For** **Automation & Technical** - Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver. - REST API automation experience (REST Assured preferred). - Framework design experience. - CI/CD integration (Jenkins / Azure DevOps). - SQL for backend validation. - Experience with JIRA & Confluence. **Leadership & Soft Skills** - 2–4 years’ experience leading QA teams. - Strong planning and coordination ability. - Excellent stakeholder communication. - Ability to manage parallel releases. - Risk identification and mitigation mindset. **Experience Requirements** - 3 years total QA experience. - 3 years of hands-on automation experience. - 3 years leading or mentoring QA teams. - Experience in enterprise or product-based environments. - TMC / Travel domain experience preferred. - Must be willing and able to work in 2nd shifts (3:00 PM IST to 12:00 AM IST) and occasional weekends as required. - Must be willing to work from the Bangalore office location minimum 3 days in a week. **Success Metrics** - Increased automation coverage (%). - Reduced regression cycle time. - Low production defect leakage. - On-time release readiness. - Improved team productivity. - Stable CI/CD test execution.
