**Interview mode : Weekend Walkin drive (Face to Face )** **Date : 11th** -July-26 **( Saturday )** Role : Kafka Admin Experience : 4to 10 years Location : Chennai **Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)** **Must-Have** Kafka Administrator who should be able to perform complete admin work in Kafka and Unix activities. - Designing, developing, and managing Kafka-based data pipelines. - Working with other big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Storm. - Monitoring and optimizing Kafka clusters. - Troubleshooting Kafka related issues. - Handling customer queries and support. - Performing administrator support for Kafka infrastructure.. **Good-to-Have** - Maintaining the availability, performance and security of Kafka infrastructure. - Developing and maintaining the automation for Kafka infrastructure. - Creating and managing Kafka topics, producers, consumers, and Python-based Kafka consumers and producers to enable efficient data processing with other systems. **Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role** - Experience in other messaging systems such as IBM MQ or Rabbit MQ. - Experience in the Atlassian stack tools Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket (GIT). - Experience in Jenkins automation development. - Experience in the scripting languages shell and python. - Experience in the operating systems Linux (RedHat and/or SuSE) and Windows Server. - Experience in search engines such as Elasticsearch.
