**Role:** Kubernetes Admin **Desired Skills:** Digital: Kubernetes | Linux **Qualifications:** Bachelor of Engineering **Job Description:** - Lead the design and implementation of containerized applications using Kubernetes. **Roles and Responsibility** Experienced with Docker/Podman, container registries, and image building. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production grade clusters Strong in Kubernetes core concepts (controllers, scheduling, storage, networking, security). Strong with CI/CD (GitLab/Jenkins/GitHub Actions). Familiarity with Helm charts, Ingress, and networking concepts. Scripting knowledge (Bash, Python) preferred. Understanding of security best practices and RBAC in Kubernetes. Experience with microservices architecture. Knowledge of service mesh (Istio, Linkerd). Proficiency with Helm, Kustomize, GitOps,Ingress controllers, cert-manager. Solid skills in Terraform & Ansible. Strong Linux administration background. Experience with monitoring and logging (Prometheus/Grafana, ELK, Dynatrace, Splunk). Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancers, routing, TLS). Knowledge of security best practices: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented Agile environment. Ability to learn new technologies. **Good to have** Knowledge of TV and Broadcast systems and tools CKA/CKAD/CKS certification. Experience with Argo CD or FluxCD. Familiarity with Qualys, CrowdStrike, Trivy, or other security tools. Familiarity with VMware Kubernetes Services. Knowledge of Vault (HashiCorp) or External Secret **Key Responsibilities\\*** Deploy, manage, and monitor Kubernetes clusters (on-prem / cloud). Configure and maintain container orchestration platforms (K8s). Implement CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications. Troubleshoot cluster, networking, and application issues. Manage upgrades, patches, and cluster performance tuning. Ensure security, compliance, and backup strategies. Work closely with DevOps, Cloud, and Development teams. Automate infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Helm, or Ansible.
