Job Title: Business Analyst with Strong L&A Knowledge Location: Greater Noida Years of Experience: 5-7 years Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in Life & Annuities (L&A) within the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of insurance products and processes, coupled with the analytical skills necessary to drive business improvements and support strategic initiatives. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively communicate with stakeholders and translate business needs into actionable solutions. Responsibilities - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Life & Annuities. - Conduct gap analysis and identify opportunities for process improvements within the insurance domain. - Develop detailed functional specifications and use cases to guide the development and implementation of solutions. - Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and ensure alignment among stakeholders. - Perform data analysis to support decision-making and validate business requirements. - Assist in the testing and validation of solutions to ensure they meet business needs and quality standards. - Provide ongoing support and training to end-users on new systems and processes. - Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting the Life & Annuities sector. Mandatory Skills - Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry, specifically in Life & Annuities. - Strong understanding of insurance products, processes, and regulatory requirements. - Proven experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. - Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. Preferred Skills - Experience with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks. - Familiarity with insurance software systems and tools. - Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques. - Certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. - 5-7 years of relevant experience in business analysis within the insurance sector. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
