Job description

**Role & responsibilities** 1. CCNA/CCNP Certified (Routing & Switching) & Higher 2. Expert Knowledge of LAN switching technologies: STP, Trunking, Ether channel and good understanding of high availability fundamentals (HSRP and VRRP) 3. Good understanding of Local Area Network (LAN) switching technologies including Cisco ISE, Spanning Tree, Virtual LAN (VLAN), and VLAN Trunking Protocol (VTP) concepts. 4. Good hands-on experience on the VeloCloud SDWAN 5. Troubleshoot latency, jitter, packet loss, asymmetric routing, and application performance issues in WAN. 6. Good understanding of MS DHCP, DNS, IPAM 7. Strong hands-on work experience with Cisco Nexus 7K, 5K, 2K devices, Cisco Catalyst 9000 series. 8. Experience in designing, deploying, and troubleshooting VSS, VDC, VPC, OTV, Fabric path, FCoE and multi-tenancy in the datacenter. 9. Hands-on experience on SolarWinds Monitoring Tool - Solving reported request, incidents, and network problems of complexity. 10. Experience in Configuring and managing Cisco Wireless LAN Controller and Juniper Mist Wireless. 11. Thorough understanding of 802.11 based wireless architecture. 12. Knowledge of AAA protocols such as DIAMETER and RADIUS and experience testing applications using these protocols. 13. Deep understanding of Internet Protocol (IP) addressing and Variable Length Subnet Mask (VLSM). 14. Troubleshooting network link/device hardware/configuration issues, isolating the problem, fixing the problem 15. Install, configure, and support large-scale production and corporate network infrastructure including Routers, Switches, Wireless and equipment. 16. Work on change management activities (implementation & validation) 17. Maintain proper documentation and audit compliance 18. Collaborate with L3 teams, and other infrastructure teams 19. Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management) 20. Participate in on-call support / shift rotations 22.Ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks with conflicting priorities.
