Job description

We are looking for a skilled LaTeX Pagination Specialist to join our production team at our Noida facility. In this role, you will be responsible for converting, paginating, and proofing complex scientific, technical, and medical (STM) books and journals using LaTeX, ensuring high formatting standards and strict adherence to publisher specifications. Key Responsibilities • Pagination & Composition: Typeset and paginate complex STM journal articles, math-heavy manuscripts, and academic books using LaTeX/TeX tools. • Math & Chemistry Handling: Correctly format intricate mathematical formulas, equations, tables, figures, and bibliographic citations according to style guides. • Troubleshooting & Fixes: Identify and fix LaTeX compilation errors, overfull/underfull hboxes, margin overlaps, and font rendering issues. • Quality Assurance: Perform self-QC to ensure error-free camera-ready copy (CRC) and web PDF/print-ready PDF outputs. • XML/BibTeX Integration: Work with BibTeX files, XML conversions, and custom macros/style files. Candidate Profile & Key Skills • Education: Bachelor's Degree in CS, IT, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields (B.Sc / BCA / B.Tech). • Technical Expertise: Proficient in LaTeX, TeX, BibTeX, MathType, and PDF handling tools. • Domain KnowledgePrior experience in STM (Science, Technical, Medical) book/journal publishing.
