Job requisition ID :: 105992 Date: Jun 11, 2026 Location: Hyderabad Designation: Lead Associate Entity: Deloitte LLP **Intermediate Guidewire Developer –** **Role purpose** As an **Intermediate Guidewire Developer**, you are accountable to independently work on Guidewire components. You utilize your **technical expertise** to ensure the code delivered by you is **stable, compliant, and aligned to enterprise standards**. This role requires an individual to be a strong Individual contributor in their assigned areas, while guiding junior engineers. **Key responsibilities** **Platform & solution ownership** - Expertise in at least one of the following areas: - PolicyCenter - BillingCenter - ClaimCenter - Digital platforms (Engage, Jutro) - Integrations, APIs, and decoupled services - Ensure solutions maximize **out**‑**of**‑**the**‑**box (OOTB)** Guidewire capabilities, and work with Senior and Lead Engineers to build customizations only when justified **Technical leadership & delivery governance** - Perform peer review of code, and configurations for quality and consistency - Follow published engineering standards, patterns, and best practices **Production ownership & operational accountability** - Support root‑cause analysis for severe or recurring incidents and drive permanent fixes **Stakeholder & cross**‑**functional collaboration** - Work closely with Business Systems Analysts, Product Owners, and Senior Engineers to: - Shape solution options - Define scope and acceptance criteria **Mentoring & team development** - Mentor Junior Guidewire Developers - Build technical depth and reduce key‑person dependency within teams **Required skills & experience** - **1-3** years of Guidewire development experience - **Hands-on experience** across multiple Guidewire products (PC, CC, BC , Jutro etc) - **Hands-on** **experience** with complex integrations and distributed systems - **Experience supporting** technical delivery across multiple teams or modules - **Good** understanding of P&C insurance processes and regulatory context - Experience **supporting** production stability and operational outcomes - Excellent communication and stakeholder‑**Coordination** skills **Desirable experience** - Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) delivery **experience / exposure** and operations - Experience with DevSecOps pipelines, CI/CD, and observability tools - **Experience supporting** large‑scale Guidewire programs or multi‑country implementations - Working in regulated, multi-business unit enterprise environments - Prior experience contributing to platform standards or architecture forums
