**Role & responsibilities:** : Job Summary We are seeking an experienced **Lead Automation Tester** with 810 years of experience in software testing and test automation. The ideal candidate will lead automation initiatives, define testing strategies, mentor team members, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The candidate should possess strong expertise in automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, API testing, and Agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end test automation activities across multiple projects. - Design, develop, maintain, and enhance scalable automation frameworks. - Define automation strategy, standards, and best practices for the QA organization. - Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC. - Review requirements and provide testability feedback during planning phases. - Develop and execute automated test scripts for Web, API, and Mobile applications. - Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines. - Analyze test results, identify root causes, and work closely with development teams for resolution. - Perform test estimation, planning, resource allocation, and risk assessment. - Track quality metrics and provide regular status reports to stakeholders. - Mentor and guide junior and senior QA engineers on automation best practices. - Drive quality engineering initiatives including shift-left testing and continuous testing.
