Key Responsibilities:  As a Lead - Chiller Programs/Engineering, you’ll be responsible for:  • Chillers product engineering leadership (Water Cooled & Air cooled chillers for comfort/Industrial segments) • Strong technical know-how of all type of chillers (Centrifugal, Screw, Scroll, Mag bearing) design & development • Driving product/program decisions (design, compliance, performance, cost etc.) • Closely co-ordination with cross-functional/cross-regional engineering teams • Deep involvement in standards and industry bodies (AHRI / IS/ BEE etc.) for Chillers. • Own end to end product development, technology decisions, and delivery of high-performance, compliant, and cost-competitive solutions Requirements Bachelors / Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: 13–18 years of experience in Chillers development with Screw, Scroll and Centrifugal chillers.  Essential Competencies/ Primary Skill Set: • Lead multiple chiller programs, Own program planning, execution, and delivery (cost, quality, timeline) by driving cross-functional collaboration. • Lead system architecture, design validation, and performance optimization by implementing robust engineering practices for product development and ensuring product compliance (AHRI/BEE/ASME). • Drive end-to-end technology transfer from other regions, and lead localization initiatives to improve cost competitiveness and supply chain resilience to make local fit product. • Lead Engineering-to-Order (ETO)/customization requirements, and balance customization with standardization for operational efficiency • Drive Value engineering, and cost reduction initiatives by collaborating with sourcing and manufacturing teams. • Develop India-specific products and feature enhancements and align portfolio with market needs • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and technical excellence, and developing technical excellence. • Should have proven experience in Chillers system engineering and product development and Program/project management of complex programs • Understanding of product positioning and market needs, Cost structures and value engineering • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)  Desirable Competencies/ Secondary Skill Set: • Familiarity with model-based engineering, simulation tools  like Ansys (FEA/ CFD), HTRI, PV Elite • Working knowledge of controls logic, system integration, and HVAC automation • Experience in global program collaboration (US, China, Europe teams) • Understanding of manufacturing processes, and working with suppliers for tooling/part development • Strong orientation towards innovation, patents, and new technology adoption • Experience in platform strategy, modular design, and product standardization • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and certifications across regions • Experience in handling complex customer engagements and large project execution • Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma mindset) • Self-starter who can work on his/her own initiative, balance demand load & prioritize • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment. • Analytical thinking, Problem solving, adaptability, detail orientation mindset and strong communication skills.
