**About the Role** Wells Fargo is seeking a **Lead Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist** to support and service **Asset Based Lending (ABL)** portfolios within Commercial Banking Operations. This role is responsible for leading moderately complex to complex servicing activities, ensuring accurate execution, regulatory compliance, and superior customer outcomes. The role also serves as a **platform subject matter expert (such as: Loan IQ, LUCAS, STUCKEY etc.)** and owns **training and talent development initiatives** for the ABL servicing group. The position requires strong collaboration with Line of Business (Relationship and Portfolio Management teams) Risk & Technology partners, while acting as an escalation point for client issues, operational risks, and process gaps. **In this role, you will perform the below:** **Asset Based Lending (ABL) Servicing** - Lead a variety of servicing activities for **moderately complex to complex Asset Based Lending products**, including revolving lines, term loans, borrowing base structures, and collateral‑driven facilities. - Coordinate all aspects of loan servicing to ensure accurate execution and timely resolution of customer needs. - Review and process: - Interest, fees, principal activity, and repricing events - Amendments, waivers, renewals, and restructurings - Borrowing base updates and collateral‑driven changes - Review and negotiate complex loan servicing transactions, evaluate operational and credit‑related risks, and implement mitigation strategies. - Serve as an escalation point for **customer, system, and operational issues**, ensuring timely and effective resolution. - Identify system, data, or process gaps and recommend procedural modifications, automation opportunities, or control enhancements. - Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and system documentation aligned to ABL servicing. - **Training Pillar Ownership & Talent Development** - Own and manage the **Training & Capability Development pillar** for the ABL loan servicing group. - Design and deliver structured training programs, including: - New‑hire onboarding and role readiness milestones - ABL product and collateral‑based servicing training - Platform training for Loan IQ, LUCAS, and STUCKEY - Refresher, remediation, and regulatory training - Identify skill gaps through quality reviews, performance metrics, audit findings, and stakeholder feedback. - Develop and maintain training materials such as: - Process and system walkthroughs - Scenario‑based ABL case studies - SOPs, job aids, and reference guides - Measure training effectiveness using assessments, certifications, and post‑training performance outcomes. - Mentor and coach team members, supporting **career development, skill progression, and succession planning**. - **Stakeholder Collaboration** Serve as a **primary liaison** with Line of Business, Control & Risk, Technology, and Operations teams. - Coordinate the resolution of open customer service issues involving internal and external partners. - Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to achieve business objectives. - May lead projects, oversee daily team deliverables, perform critical end‑of‑day check‑outs, and mentor lower‑level staff. - Contribute to strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within ABL Operations. **Required Qualifications:** - 5+ years of Commercial Loan Servicing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education **Desired Qualifications:** - **5+ years** of Commercial Loan Servicing and/or Loan Trading experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education. - **5+ years of hands‑on proficiency** with **Loan IQ, LUCAS, STUCKEY** etc. or equivalent commercial lending platforms. - **5+ years of training‑related experience**, including drafting training plans, delivering training programs, and defining onboarding milestones. - **2+ years of experience supervising daily team deliverables**, including critical end‑of‑day controls and check‑outs. - Strong understanding of **Asset Based Lending products**, Syndicated Loan Servicing, collateral structures, and servicing workflows. - Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. **Job Expectations:** - Strong knowledge of loan documentation and ability to interpret **Legal Credit Agreements**. - Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. - Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution capabilities. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. - Recognized for delivering **exceptional customer service** and strong stakeholder partnership. **Posting End Date:** 26 Jun 2026 - ***Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.*** **We Value Equal Opportunity** Wells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
