Senior Project Manager - Databricks Specialist **Years of Experience:** 8-10 Years **Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in managing data-driven projects and a strong expertise in Databricks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, delivering projects on time and within budget, and leveraging Databricks to drive data analytics and insights. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels and ensure the successful execution of complex projects. **Responsibilities** - Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle for data analytics projects utilizing Databricks. - Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. - Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. - Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints. - Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and addressing any issues that arise. - Utilize Databricks to optimize data processing and analytics workflows, ensuring high-quality data outputs. - Implement best practices in project management and data governance to enhance project outcomes. - Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members in project management methodologies and Databricks usage. **Mandatory Skills** - Strong expertise in Databricks, including experience with Spark, Delta Lake, and data pipelines. - Proven experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making. - Experience in managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects in a fast-paced environment. **Preferred Skills** - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing solutions. - Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and their integration with Databricks. - Experience in machine learning and AI projects. - Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification. **Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 8-10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data analytics and Databricks. - Demonstrated success in delivering data-driven projects that meet business objectives.
