Lead Design Engineer

Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Lead end-to-end **UX, Product and Interaction Design** for next-generation Agentic AI experiences. - Design how users **delegate tasks, monitor AI agents, intervene, approve decisions and handle exceptions**. - Translate existing enterprise business processes into **AI-enabled workflows and experiences**. - Design interfaces for **AI agents, copilots, conversational experiences and multi-agent workflows**. - Define interaction patterns for **human-in-the-loop, AI autonomy, trust, transparency and guardrails**. - Conduct user research, journey mapping, information architecture, wireframing and prototyping. - Build and maintain scalable **design systems and interaction patterns** for AI-powered products. - Collaborate with Product, Data Science, AI/ML and Engineering teams to translate AI capabilities into intuitive user experiences. - Contribute to the Agentic AI experience strategy and roadmap. **Preferred candidate profile** - **12+ years of experience** in UX, Product Design, Interaction Design or Experience Design. - Strong background in **enterprise UX, complex workflows and business process transformation**. - Hands-on expertise in **UX Design, Interaction Design, Service Design, Design Thinking, Journey Mapping and Information Architecture**. - Strong understanding of **Generative AI, LLMs, AI Agents and Agentic AI**. - Practical understanding of **RAG, conversational AI, multi-agent systems and prompt design**. - Understanding of **human-AI interaction**, including delegation, autonomy, monitoring, intervention, exception handling and AI trust. - Experience designing **AI-powered products, copilots, intelligent workflows or agentic experiences** is highly preferred. - Strong proficiency in **Figma**; Miro/FigJam experience is a plus. - Exposure to **MCP, Agent-to-Agent interactions, LangGraph, Copilot Studio or IBM Watsonx Orchestrate** is an advantage. - Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to work closely with **Product, AI/ML, Engineering and business teams**.
