PFB details **Interview Venue:** Tata Technologies, (Third & Ground Floor), Salarpuria Supreme, Khata No. 137, Survey No. 92/5, Munnekolalu Village, Varthur Hobli, Bangalore South Taluk, India 560037 Time: 9AM - 1PM 📃 Interview Process: • Shortlisting of profile at venue • Technical Interview • Tool Test • HR discussion PFB Job Description: Scope of Role Cooling System and Components like hoses, degas tank, radiator, pumps, valves etc Area of Responsibility - Candidate will be part of Powertrain teams as a full time Design and Release engineer for cooling systems. - Responsible for owning cooling commodities – Hoses, Tanks, Heat exchangers, Pumps and Valves. - Liaise with various stakeholders and provide end to end delivery solutions. - Should have a good understanding of vehicle package guideline. - Sound knowledge of Plastic and Sheet metal design guidelines and manufacturing processes is required. - Should have an ability to conduct benchmarking studies and propose innovative solutions. - Good understanding of PCDS and major gateways. Knowledge / Experience – 6 to 8 Years Essential: - Automotive domain knowledge with working experience of cooling system commodities. - Commodity Ownership - Participate in sourcing process for timely onboarding of suppliers - Coordinate with stakeholders - Engineering, Finance, Purchase & supplier for BOM management - Timely S/T/P releases by ensuring right information of data is produced like CAD, Cost, QAF etc. - Understanding of commodity release & change management - Understanding of Proto & Production BOM - Excellent CATIA V5 and CATIA V6 2D/3D skills. - Exposure to PLM tools such as TeamCenter. - GD&T knowledge is a must. - Proficiency in using MS tools such as SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. - Tools - CATIA V5 / CATIA V6, VisMockup, Teamcenter, 3Dx, RMDV, JIRA, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering or related discipline.
