**Job Requirements** **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Utilize analytical tools (process simulation, data analytics etc.) to uncover technical insights, troubleshooting issues, recommend improvements, and drive optimization opportunities - Support initiatives focused on energy efficiency, yield improvement, cost reduction, and sustainability - Maintain detailed process simulation models to evaluate operating scenarios effectively - Perform energy utilization analysis, material balance assessments, benchmarking and identification of unit improvement opportunities - Understand technical summaries, data sheets, and engineering documentation as per workflow requirements. - Participate in review meetings and provide support to clients **Work Experience** **Required Skills:** - Strong knowledge of refinery and petro-chemical units - Experience in working with process monitoring tools, acquisition from data historians, and process modeling software such as SeeQ, PI, Hysys etc. - Experience in performing analytical calculations - Ability to interpret process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, HMB, process datasheets and equipment design documents. - Awareness of process safety management concepts and principles such as Process Hazard Analysis, Integrity Operating Windows etc. - Strong documentation, communication, and analytical skills. - Attention to detail and strong data discipline. - Team-oriented with good coordination skills. - Ability to work under minimal supervision while delivering high-quality output. **Qualification:** - Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in Chemical Engineering - Minimum 7 years of total work experience - Minimum 3 years experience in technical services - Experience in one (or more) of the units is mandatory - FCCU, Delayed Coker, Alkylation, Hydrocracker, CDU/VDU, NHT - Isomerization, Hydroprocessing, Aromatics, Polymers, Olefins.
