Lead - Indirect Taxation

Job description

Responsible for Indirect Taxes compliance relating to Manufacturing division of L&T involved in Defence, Aerospace and Shipbuilding. - In-dept knowledge of GST regulations including erstwhile Excise Duty, service tax, VAT and CST. - Person should be able to guide and handle various statutory compliances, operational procedures & related documentation including pre-Bid Advisory and Contract structuring support. - Representations before Government and trade bodies. - Periodic MIS to senior management on tax compliances and tax receivables. Support and guidance to Business team such as Marketing, Supply Chain and Project execution team on taxation matters. - Oversee overall IDT functions across all the locations including departmental audits, investigations, and disputes, draft & review replies and represent before the authorities/Tribunal - Manage and Develop the team - Will be responsible to co-ordinate / handle various notices, audits, assessments & litigation.
