Lead - Mechanical

Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Lead mechanical engineering activities for oil & gas projects. - Review and approve mechanical drawings, specifications, and design documents. - Handle static and rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, vessels, tanks, and piping interfaces. - Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, QA/QC, and HSE teams. - Review vendor documents, technical submittals, and material specifications. - Ensure work complies with project specifications, international codes, and client requirements. - Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, and equipment requirements. - Manage equipment alignment, hydrotesting, pressure testing, and pre-commissioning activities. - Resolve technical issues and provide effective engineering solutions. - Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors. - Ensure compliance with HSE standards and project quality requirements. - Lead and mentor the mechanical engineering and site execution team. - Support commissioning, start-up, and handover activities.
