**JOB DESCRIPTION** **Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ)** is the largest commercial ports operator in India accounting for nearly one-fourth of the cargo movement in the country. Its presence across 15 domestic ports in seven maritime states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Odisha presents the most widespread national footprint with deepened hinterland connectivity. The port facilities are equipped with the latest cargo-handling infrastructure which is not only best-in-class, but also capable of handling the largest vessels calling at Indian shores. Our ports are equipped to handle diverse cargos, from dry cargo, liquid cargo, crude to containers. **Role Purpose** The role will manage day-to-day LPG terminal operations, ensuring efficient handling, storage, and distribution of LPG products. This role supports the Head of Section - LPG Operations by executing operational strategies, maintaining safety and compliance, and contributing to productivity improvement and cost management initiatives. The position focuses on ensuring high-quality service delivery, upholding safety standards, and fostering teamwork within the operations team. **Responsibilities** **Operations Management:** Supervise daily operations at the LPG terminal, ensuring seamless and safe handling of LPG products in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). **Operational Strategy:** Collaborate with the Head of Section to implement operational strategies and provide updates on operational metrics. **Quality Assurance:** Ensure high-quality LPG products are delivered, meeting both regulatory standards and customer expectations. **Query Resolution:** Address customer inquiries related to product quality, collaborating with relevant teams to resolve issues effectively. **Safety & Security:** Enforce safety protocols and standards, conducting regular safety inspections and audits. **Emergency Response:** Collaborate in emergency preparedness drills and ensure the team is trained and aware of safety procedures. **Stakeholder Management:** Act as a liaison for internal departments to ensure alignment and address any issues in terminal operations **Cost Optimization:** Identify and recommend process enhancements and improvements to optimize resource utilization. **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements, supporting the timely submission of relevant documentation and records, coordinate with regulatory authorities as required and uphold compliance standards in all terminal activities. **Support for Laboratory Accreditation:** Assist in maintaining laboratory standards in line with NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) requirements. **Brand Positioning:** Ensure Adani's brand values are shown in all interactions. Strengthen relationships to boost the organization's brand and trust within the market and company. **Team Development:** Build a high-performing team. Set clear KPIs, track progress, and implement strategies for continuous improvement. Promote a respectful and safe workplace, lead collaborative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success. Tracks and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital business success. **Digital mindset:** Champions a digital mindset within the organization to drive innovation and competitiveness. Authorities **Education Qualification** Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering, or a related field. **Experience** 5-8 years of professional experience in LPG Operations in any major Plant.
