Job Description: QA Automation Engineer / SDET Position Overview We are looking for an experienced **QA Automation Engineer / SDET** with strong expertise in **Python, C#, or Java** , along with hands-on experience in **Selenium, Playwright, SQL, API testing, data validation, and data integrity testing** . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing automated test solutions, validating application functionality and data accuracy, and collaborating closely with development, product, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust **test automation frameworks** using **Python, C#, or Java** . Develop and execute automated UI test scripts using **Selenium and Playwright** . Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across web-based applications. Design and execute **API testing** using REST/SOAP APIs and validate request/response data. Write complex **SQL queries** to validate backend data and perform database testing. Perform **data validation and data integrity testing** across multiple application and database layers. Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and transformation across source and target systems. Identify, document, troubleshoot, and track defects through resolution. Develop reusable automation components and contribute to improving automation coverage and test efficiency. Execute automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines and analyze test results. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and define effective test strategies. Participate in test planning, estimation, defect triage, root-cause analysis, and release validation. Communicate testing progress, risks, issues, and quality metrics to project stakeholders. **Required Skills** Strong programming experience in **Python, C#, or Java** . Hands-on experience with **Selenium WebDriver** . Hands-on experience with **Playwright** automation. Strong experience in **API Testing** and API validation. Strong proficiency in **SQL** and database validation. Experience with **Data Validation and Data Integrity Testing** . Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes. Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent **stakeholder management and communication skills** . **Preferred Qualifications** Experience with **REST APIs, Postman, or similar API testing tools** . Experience integrating automation suites with **Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD platforms** . Knowledge of Git/version control systems. Experience working in **Agile/Scrum** environments. Familiarity with cloud-based applications and distributed systems. Experience testing applications involving complex data workflows or integrations. **Experience** **5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Test Automation** , with strong hands-on experience in automation, API testing, SQL, and data validation.
