**Senior Sitecore Developer - JD** **Professional Work Experience** - 1. Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Sitecore websites supporting multiple sites, brands, regions, and languages. - 2. Architect and implement scalable Sitecore solutions capable of handling high-volume traffic and business-critical workloads. - 3. Develop custom Sitecore components, templates, workflows, pipelines, and modules following best practices. - 4. Lead headless CMS implementations using Sitecore XM Cloud, JSS, Experience Edge, and GraphQL. - 5. Optimize website performance, page load speed, Core Web Vitals, JsonLD and backend response times for exceptional user experience. - 6. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application, infrastructure, and website-related issues in development and production environments. - 7. Optimize website architecture, content delivery, caching strategies, and database performance to ensure high availability and scalability. - 8. Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, technical design sessions, and development best practice initiatives. - 9. Implement robust cybersecurity controls and secure coding practices to protect websites against OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and emerging threats. - 10. Design and maintain API integrations between Sitecore and third-party platforms such as Map, CRM, Booking Systems, marketing automation, analytics, and customer data platforms. - 11. Collaborate closely with UX/UI Designers and Front-end Developers to deliver responsive, accessible, and visually compelling digital experiences. - 12. Implement technical SEO, structured data, and AI-search optimization strategies to maximize visibility across search engines and AI-powered discovery platforms. - 13. Provide technical leadership while promoting high-quality engineering standards and follow the agile/scrum processes. - 14. Support deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, Azure App Service, and cloud-based Sitecore environments. - 15. Work closely with product, business, and digital teams to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and high-performing Sitecore solutions for major global brands. **Strategic Purpose of the Position** At the moment, Sitecore 9 powers our wholesale websites. We need a Sitecore developer to handle the current sites while we migrate them to a different CMS (it might take another 1-2 years). Additionally, the new resource can serve both retail and wholesale, and we have retail sites running on Sitecore 10. **Position Description in Brief and Approx Spend of Time in %** **45%** - Design, develop, maintain, and enhance complex enterprise-level Sitecore solutions across multiple websites, brands, and regions. - Build and support Sitecore multisite architectures and shared component frameworks. - Develop custom Sitecore modules, components, templates, workflows, and integrations. - Implement Sitecore best practices for content management, personalization, publishing, and scalability. - Drive technical architecture decisions and provide guidance to development teams. - Implement and maintain headless Sitecore solutions using Sitecore JSS, Sitecore Experience Edge, GraphQL, and modern front-end frameworks. - Support omnichannel delivery strategies and API-first architecture approaches. - Ensure seamless content delivery across web, mobile, and emerging digital channels. - Implement technical SEO best practices including structured data, metadata management, sitemap optimization, and page performance enhancements. - Optimize websites for search engine discoverability and AI-driven search experiences. - Ensure websites meet Core Web Vitals and modern SEO standards. - Partner with business and marketing teams to improve organic search visibility and customer engagement. **20%** - Implement enterprise-grade security controls across all Sitecore implementations. - Ensure compliance with security standards, vulnerability management, and secure development practices. - Protect websites against common cyber threats, including OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), SQL Injection, Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF), Authentication and authorization risks, API security vulnerabilities. - Conduct security reviews and support vulnerability remediation efforts. - Collaborate with security teams to ensure secure architecture and deployment practices. **15%** - Optimize website performance for high-traffic environments and large-scale digital platforms. - Identify and resolve front-end and back-end bottlenecks affecting performance. - Improve page load speeds, caching strategies, database performance, and content delivery optimization. - Analyze server, application, and database performance metrics and implement continuous improvements. - Optimize existing backend architecture to ensure fast response times, efficient content delivery, and scalability during peak traffic periods. - Monitor website health, performance, and operational stability. - Diagnose and resolve website errors, bugs, and production issues. - Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical incidents and platform outages. - Support platform upgrades, deployments, and ongoing maintenance activities. **Integration & API Development - 10%** - Design and implement integrations between Sitecore and third-party platforms. - Develop and maintain integrations with Map, CRM, Booking systems, marketing automation, analytics platforms. - Build and consume RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and enterprise integration services. - Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure data consistency across systems. **Process and Alignment - 10%** Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Designers, QA engineers, Engineering Manager, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of sprint commitments and business objectives.
