Lead / Senior Software Engineer - .NET

Job description

We are looking for a **Lead / Senior Software Engineer - .NET with Azure \& Kubernetes** to design, develop and improve the digital products and technology services we provide to our clients and employees. You will apply a broad range of software engineering practices while advocating for client needs and contributing to our engineering culture. **Responsibilities** * Design, develop and improve the digital products and technology services provided to clients and employees * Apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment * Ensure the quality, security, reliability and compliance of solutions by applying digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements * Build observability into solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents and remediate the root cause of risks and issues * Understand, represent and advocate for client needs * Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, help with hiring and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities **Requirements** * 6-15 years of experience in software engineering * Bachelor's and/or Master's degree or equivalent focusing on Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline * Strong expertise in C# and .NET Core * Knowledge of messaging platforms, ideally Kafka * Familiarity with containers, ideally Kubernetes * Background in Agile, Test Driven Development and DevOps practices * Showcase of engineering best practices and delivering Clean Code as a Software Craftsperson * Good communication skills, both written and verbal * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for figuring out how things work * Keen interest in understanding how the business works alongside a passion for learning and innovation **Nice to have** * Understanding of Microservice and Event-Driven architecture * Expertise in Cloud architecture and engineering, ideally on Microsoft Azure (Kubernetes Service, Container Apps, App Service, Functions, Event Grid and Service Bus)
