This pivotal role involves managing the implementation, upkeep, and enhancement of HR IT applications and infrastructure crucial for diverse HR functions such as employee data management, payroll, benefits administration, and recruitment. The HR IT Operations Lead collaborates closely with HR teams, IT professionals, and external vendors to ensure alignment with organizational requirements, regulatory compliance, and optimal functionality. They are responsible for providing technical support, resolving issues, and spearheading initiatives aimed at refining HR technology solutions to streamline workflows, enhance data accuracy, and elevate the overall employee experience. Moreover, they may oversee aspects of data security, access controls, and adherence to data privacy regulations. In this individual contributor role, you'll have the chance to identify areas for innovation and make significant contributions to the organization's success. **What you’ll do:** - Lead the operational support for all HR Technology applications including the integrations in and out of Workday System. - Collaborate with internal team members and external vendors to ensure smooth integration and operation of HR technology solutions. - Provide technical expertise and support to HR teams and end-users, troubleshooting issues and resolving technical challenges in a timely manner. - Lead initiatives to streamline HR processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance the overall employee experience through innovative use of technology. - Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides, policies, and procedures, to support the effective use of HR technology systems. - Manage the production enhancements and new technical projects in HR technology. - Collaborate with HRIS, Business and IT/ extended technical teams to provide IT solutions to Business requirements. - Support the HRIT team members in technical deliverables and provide mentorship in technical skills and HR domain knowledge. - Demonstrate understanding of application development methods, including agile and waterfall, as well as the fundamentals of requirement specifications, design, coding and testing of business applications systems. - Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to workday integration architecture. **What you’ll need:** - Strong understanding of integration patterns, data mapping, and transformation techniques, with the ability to troubleshoot integration issues and implement effective resolutions. - Strong IT professional with 6-8 yrs of experience in managing/leading the operational support for all HR Technology applications. - The candidate should have strong qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills along with high on ownership and accountability. - 4+ yrs of relevant experience in creating or enhancing Workday integrations to third party vendors including payroll and benefit providers. - Extensive experience with Workday integration tools i.e., XML, XSLT, Custom Reports, EIB, Studio, CCW, PICOF, and PECI - Demonstrated ability to design and develop Workday integrations. - Experience with integrating applications via web service APIs - SOAP and REST - Experience in managing integration security for Workday. - Experience in mentoring and coaching junior team members. **Who you are:** - Education qualification as graduate or postgraduate degree in Engineering is required. - Results-oriented with a focus on reliability and operational excellence. - Strong problem solver with the ability to work through ambiguity. - Effective communicator who collaborates well across teams. - Takes High ownership and follows through on commitments. - Motivated to learn and grow in both technology and business domains.
