**Position Title:** Legal Associate / Legal Executive **Department:** Legal **Location:** *Noida* **Experience:** 1 to 4 years post-qualification experience **Qualification:** LL.B. from a recognized university; enrollment with the applicable State Bar Council preferred **Role Summary** The Company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented legal professional with 1 to 4 years of post-qualification experience to support its litigation portfolio and day-to-day contract review requirements. The role will be responsible for coordinating with external counsel, tracking and managing ongoing disputes, reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, advising internal stakeholders on legal risks. **Key Responsibilities** **A. Litigation Management** - Handle and monitor the Companys litigation, arbitration, consumer, recovery, regulatory, and other dispute matters. - Coordinate with external advocates, law firms, consultants, and internal business teams for effective case strategy and timely filings. - Maintain a litigation tracker and calendar for hearings, filing deadlines, documentation, updates, and management reporting. - Review pleadings, replies, written statements, affidavits, notices, evidence bundles, settlement terms, and other litigation-related documents. - Collect, organize, and analyze facts, documents, and records required for disputes and investigations. - Assist in preparing case briefs, chronologies, legal notes, and status reports for internal stakeholders and senior management. - Support pre-litigation strategy, including legal notices, demand notices, responses, and settlement discussions. - Attend and represent the Company at the court, tribunal, arbitration, and other legal proceedings, as required, and coordinate follow-up actions. - Liaise with police, government departments, regulators, and other authorities, where required and legally appropriate. - Monitor recovery matters, cheque bounce proceedings and regulatory actions, where applicable to the Company’s business. - Maintain legal records, matter files, and management dashboards in an organized and confidential manner. **B. Contract Review and Commercial Legal Support** - Review, draft, revise, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements, including non-disclosure agreements, vendor agreements, service agreements, procurement contracts, customer contracts, employment-related documents, lease-related documents, and other business contracts. - Identify legal, commercial, operational, and compliance risks in contracts and provide practical mitigation recommendations. - Ensure contract terms are aligned with applicable law, internal policies, approval matrices, and the Company’s risk position. - Prepare and update standard templates, playbooks, clause banks, and contract review checklists. - Support contract lifecycle management, including version control, execution coordination, record maintenance, and renewal or termination tracking. - Advise internal stakeholders on contractual rights, obligations, indemnities, limitation of liability, termination rights, dispute resolution, confidentiality, data protection, and related issues. - Maintain contract repositories, and management dashboards in an organized and confidential manner. **Desired Candidate Profile** - LL.B. degree from a recognized institution. - 1 to 4 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm, chamber, or in-house legal department of Corporate. - Relevant hands-on experience in litigation coordination, dispute management, and contract drafting or review. - Strong understanding of civil, commercial, corporate, and procedural laws applicable to business operations in India. - Familiarity with court procedures, filing processes, legal documentation, and coordination with external counsel. - Ability to read, interpret, and negotiate commercial contracts with attention to detail and risk implications. - Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to manage multiple matters, prioritize deadlines, and work in a fast-paced corporate environment. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal tracking or document management tools.
