Working with LIC offers the opportunity to be part of a well-established institution with a strong public service mission. **Role Description** The LIC of India Insurance Agent role is a full-time hybrid position based in Kallakurichi, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Insurance Agent will identify and approach potential customers, explain suitable LIC insurance products, and support clients in selecting plans that meet their financial protection and savings goals. Daily responsibilities include generating leads, conducting client meetings, presenting policy features and benefits, and assisting with proposal forms and documentation. The role also involves maintaining ongoing relationships with policyholders, providing service on renewals, claims guidance, and policy updates, and participating in local marketing and awareness activities. Agents are expected to meet sales targets, keep accurate records of client interactions, and stay informed about LIC products, regulations, and market trends. **Qualifications** - Strong Insurance Sales and Insurance knowledge to understand LIC products and effectively match them to customer needs. - Experience or familiarity with Insurance Brokerage and Finance to advise clients on long-term financial planning and risk management. - Excellent Customer Service skills to build trust, maintain relationships, and handle queries and concerns professionally. - Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information in simple terms. - Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating with LIC branches and teams. - Basic computer literacy for handling online applications, policy information, and digital communication. - Willingness to undergo required training and licensing as per IRDAI and LIC guidelines. - Senior secondary education or higher (such as 10+2 or equivalent); prior experience in sales or financial services is an advantage but not mandatory.
