**Job Title:** VMware Administrator / VMware Engineer **Experience:** 510 Years **Location:** PAN India **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled VMware Administrator with hands-on experience in managing enterprise virtualization environments. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, administering, and supporting VMware infrastructure while ensuring high availability, performance, and security. **Key Responsibilities** - Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments. - Manage virtual machines, clusters, resource pools, datastores, and templates. - Configure and maintain VMware HA, DRS, vMotion, Storage vMotion, and vSAN. - Perform VMware upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management. - Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, and availability. - Configure and manage SAN/NAS storage integration. - Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions. - Troubleshoot virtualization, storage, networking, and host-related issues. - Automate administrative tasks using PowerCLI or PowerShell. - Collaborate with Windows, Linux, Storage, and Network teams. **Required Skills** - VMware vSphere (6.x/7.x/8.x) - ESXi & vCenter Server Administration - VMware HA, DRS, vMotion, Storage vMotion - vSAN, SAN, NAS Storage - VMware Cluster Administration - PowerCLI / PowerShell - Windows & Linux Server Administration - Virtual Networking (vSwitch, Distributed Switch, VLAN) - Performance Tuning & Capacity Planning - Backup & Disaster Recovery **Good to Have** - VMware NSX - VMware SRM (Site Recovery Manager) - VMware Aria Operations (vRealize Operations) - VMware Horizon (VDI) - Ansible, Terraform - AWS/Azure Cloud - VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) **Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV) certification is preferred. - Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
