**Role Summary** We are looking for a hands-on **Linux / Ubuntu System Administrator** with strong expertise in **Ubuntu Server Administration** and working knowledge of **Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure** . The ideal candidate should have practical experience managing Ubuntu environments while supporting cloud-based infrastructure on Azure. **Key Responsibilities** - Install, configure, administer, and maintain Ubuntu/Linux servers. - Perform OS lifecycle management, upgrades, deployments, and patch management. - Manage user administration, permissions, and security. - Configure networking, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot server issues. - Execute backup, recovery, and system maintenance activities. - Support Azure Cloud Infrastructure, including provisioning, administration, and operational support. - Ensure system availability, security, and compliance with operational standards. **Required Skills** **Primary Skills** - Ubuntu Server Administration - Linux System Administration - Ubuntu installation, deployment & upgrades - Patch & package management - User administration & security management - System monitoring & performance troubleshooting - Networking configuration - Backup & recovery **Secondary Skills (Mandatory)** - Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure - Azure Virtual Machines - Azure Networking - Azure Storage - Azure Identity & Access Management (IAM) **Preferred Qualifications** - 4–8 years of experience in Linux/Ubuntu Administration. - Hands-on experience with both Ubuntu Server Administration and Microsoft Azure Cloud. - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. - Shell scripting knowledge is an added advantage. **Primary Skill:** Ubuntu Server Administration **Secondary Skill (Mandatory):** Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure
