Expert in RedHat Linux 6.X,7.X &8.X and above administration including Installation, Configurations and troubleshooting. 2. Handle Linux upgrades, patching, compliance and securing requirements. ü Good experience in handling VMWare and Cisco UCS platforms. 3. In depth knowledge of the performance troubleshooting and fine tuning on Linux. 4. Good understanding of storage configurations and storage migrations. ü Good understanding of ITIL processes like Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management. 5. Strong Knowledge on Cisco UCS platform. 6. Added advantage if candidate has scripting knowledge in Shell or Perl. 7. Good communication and interpersonal skills. 8. Prior experience in managing clients and client environments. 9. Any technical certifications like RHCE, RHCSA. 10. Should be able to display technical lead capabilities and provide solutions to complex problems to the client. **Good to Have:** 1. Excellent written verbal and presentation skills. 2. Flexible to work in shifts. 3. Well organized with ability to multi-task and work with minimum supervision with quick learning skills. 4. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. 5. Planning the installation of Linux Server according to the requirement. 6. Experience on Logical Volume Management on Linux. 7. Monitoring the system performance for optimizing CPU utilization. 8. Creating the Partitions and Format Partitions. 9. Job Scheduling through the AT and Crontab. 10. Configuring and troubleshooting the problems with FTP and NFS servers. 11. Configuring the network services like DNS, DHCP, Apache, samba and NIS. 12. Installing and Configuration of Samba Server. ü User and Group management. 13. File system Management. ü Handling performance monitoring tools. 14. Troubleshooting the boot up issues. 15. Remote administration and monitoring backup, health, network status of the client servers. **Essential:** 1. Package management using RPM and Yellow dog Updater Modified (YUM) in Linux. 2. Creating NIC bounding for Network fault tolerance. 3. O/S and application Patch installation on servers 4. Configuration of FTP and remote applications with Ssh, SCP, putty. 5. Adding Ulimits to users. 6. Changing the owner ship for directories and file systems. ü Route adding and deleting. 7. Solving day to day issues reported at desk and following it up with the customer until closure through mail. **Minimum Qualification:** - 15 years of full-time education - Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
