Linux/ Virtuozzo System Administrator

**Total Experience: 5+ Years** **Location: Pune/Bangalore/Jamshedpur** **Notice Period: Immediate Joiner's** **Key Responsibilities:** - **Infrastructure Management:** Deploy, monitor, and maintain Virtuozzo platforms (Hybrid Server, Hybrid Infrastructure, and Application Platform). - **Incident Management & Troubleshooting:** Process L2/L3 support tickets, diagnose virtualization/containerization issues, and perform root-cause analysis. - **Resource Management:** Allocate server capacity, configure limits, and manage ISOs, OS templates, and compute resources. - **Backups & Security:** Handle platform backup policies, monitor system health, and apply security hardening or patches. - **Partner/User Support:** Help clients and stakeholders troubleshoot virtual machines (VMs), Kubernetes clusters, and cloud environments. **Required Qualifications & Skills:** - **Experience:** 5+ years of experience administering Linux/Unix systems and virtualization technologies (KVM, QEMU, or Virtuozzo/OpenVZ). - **OS Knowledge:** Deep understanding of Linux operating systems, including command-line troubleshooting, kernel management, and networking (iptables, routing). - **Storage & Cloud Concepts:** Familiarity with software-defined storage (SDS), S3, block/file storage, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - **Troubleshooting & Communication:** Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of handling high-severity technical incidents and communicating effectively with partners.
