**Company Name:** Zetsol Energy Pvt. Ltd(a Zetwerk group company) **Position:** Export & Import Logistics Assistant **Location:** Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu **Role & Responsibility** 1. Documentation - Prepare, Verify & maintain all necessary Export/Import documents (shipping bills, bills of entry, commercial invoices, packing lists, Certificate of Origin etc.) 2. Logistics & Coordination - Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, Custom House Agents (CHA) to ensure timely shipment movement and also should have handled at least 100 import containers per month. 3. Compliance - Ensure adherence to EXIM policies, customs regulations and international trade standards. 4. Customs Clearance - Manage entire customs clearance process and handle queries from authorities. 5. Bank/Financial Coordination - Handle letter of Credit (LC) documentation and coordinate with banks for remittances. 6. Reporting - Prepare daily/Monthly MIS reports on pending shipments and EXIM incentives. 7. HS Code & Duty Optimization - Assign correct Harmonized HS System codes to ensure precise duty payment and prevent customs seizures. 8. Cross-Border Regulatory Compliance - Ensure strict documentation compliance with evolving trade frameworks (such as US Forced Labor Prevention Act traceability, EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence or regional anti-dumping duties). 9. International Freight Forwarding - Book and manage global ocean/air freight spaces, negotiating container availability amid volatile global shipping lanes. 10. Trade Finance & Documentation Validation - Strictly review shipping bills, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Bills of Lading to fulfil Letter of Credit (LC) terms for guaranteed international payment. 11. Country of Origin (COO) Certification - File and secure legal Country of Origin certificates, allowing international buyers to claim local green-energy subsidies or tax credits. 12. Handling transactions between Ocean Freight, Air freight, Trains & Trucking across different continents. 13. Development of domestic & international transporter services, CHA, Freight forwarders and other stake holders for smooth operations of logistics department. Technical skills required - Knowledge of FTP with advance and EPCG (Export Promotion Capital Goods) licence application in DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade). - BOND/BG (Bank Guarantees) for License registration at Port. - Monitoring & Closure of advance and EPCG licenses. - Process RoDTEP (Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products) & DBK (Duty Drawback) claims Via ICEGATE portal. - FTA (Free Trade Agreements) and their implications on duties, tariffs and competitiveness. - Preparing MIS (Management Information System) reports related to EXIM. - Coordination with DGFT, Development commissioner and Customs officials. Ability to handle Litigation and commercial legal matters. - Knowledge of SEZ (Special Economic Zone) rules, including renewal of RCMC, amendment of LOA & filing of APR. - Import/Export clearance queries resolution. Strong knowledge of HS Codes and product specific duties. - Ability to coordinate with Export/Import team, SEZ clearance team for smooth functioning. - SIMS & NFMIMS entry in DGFT portal & payment. Familiar with portals like NSDL, IMEXO, GST, ICEGATE. - Domestic and international vendor development and negotiation. - SAP, MS Excel, Power point presentation. Education BE or any Bachelors Degree is mandatory. Experience 5 to 12 years in EXIM operations.
