**Location - All Hexaware Location** **Notice Period - Immediate - 20 days** We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Magento 2.x development, backend architecture, product catalog management, menu customization, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in developing and customizing Magento backend functionalities, improving Admin Panel performance, and managing complex catalog structures in large-scale eCommerce environments. **Magento Backend Development** - Design, develop, and maintain scalable Magento 2.x backend solutions. - Develop custom modules, extensions, APIs, and integrations following Magento best practices. - Customize Magento entities, attributes, EAV models, product types, catalog structures, and backend workflows. - Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and software design principles. **Product Catalog & Menu Management** - Extensive hands-on experience in Product Catalog Management, including: - Configurable, bundled, grouped, and custom product types. - Product attributes, attribute sets, categories, and catalog rules. - Catalog import/export processes and bulk product operations. - Customize and optimize complex category trees, navigation menus, and catalog hierarchies. - Design and implement custom menu and catalog management functionalities to support large-scale product inventories. - Experience working with multi-store, multi-language, and multi-catalog Magento implementations. **Backend Admin Panel Optimization** - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks within Magento Admin Panel. - Optimize catalog management screens, product grids, category management, indexing, and backend workflows. - Improve backend response times through database optimization, indexing strategies, caching mechanisms, and code refactoring. - Experience handling large product catalogs with high transaction volumes. **Performance Engineering** - Optimize Magento application performance, database queries, indexing, caching, and resource utilization. - Design and implement proper database indexes and query optimization techniques. - Work with caching technologies such as Redis, Memcached, and Magento Full Page Cache. - Analyze performance issues using profiling and debugging tools. **Required Skills & Experience** **Magento & PHP** - 10+ years of hands-on experience in Magento 2.x development. - Strong expertise in Magento Framework architecture and backend development. - Extensive experience with: - PHP - Zend Framework - Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) - Magento EAV Architecture - Dependency Injection - Plugin & Observer Patterns - Service Contracts - Magento Indexers **Architecture & Design** - Strong understanding of: - Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) - Software Design Patterns - Enterprise Application Architecture - Scalable eCommerce Platform Design **Education** - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related discipline. **Certifications** - Magento Certified Professional Developer or Adobe Commerce Certification is a strong advantage.
