As a large public-sector employer, LIC offers opportunities to build impactful careers in the insurance and financial services sector. **Role Description** The MAHILA CAREER ADVISOR (Kurnool) is a full-time, on-site role responsible for guiding individuals, especially women and students, in exploring and planning suitable career and financial pathways. The advisor will conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions, provide information on educational and career options, and help clients understand how insurance and financial products can support their long-term goals. Daily tasks include assessing clients’ skills and interests, preparing guidance materials, organizing workshops or orientation programs, and maintaining accurate records of counseling interactions. The role involves close collaboration with LIC branches and local stakeholders in Kurnool to increase awareness of career opportunities and LIC’s offerings. The advisor is expected to work ethically, uphold LIC’s standards, and contribute to community outreach and empowerment initiatives. **Qualifications** - Ability to provide career-focused support with skills in Career Counseling, Career Development, and Career Management. - Experience or aptitude in guidance roles, including Student Counseling and general Counseling-related activities. - Strong Communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and sensitively. - Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, social work, human resources, or a related field is preferred. - Knowledge of local educational and employment opportunities in and around Kurnool. - Comfort working on-site, engaging with diverse communities, and maintaining professional confidentiality. - Basic understanding of insurance or financial products, with willingness to learn LIC’s offerings. - Proficiency in relevant local languages and English, and ability to use basic office and digital tools.
