**Job Title:** Mainframe Developer **Experience:** 410 Years **Location:** Hyderabad / Pune / Noida **Industry:** Banking & Financial Services Job Description We are looking for an experienced **Mainframe Developer** with strong expertise in **COBOL, JCL, and DB2** to support and enhance critical banking applications. The ideal candidate should have experience working in banking projects, handling production support, development, maintenance, and enhancement activities in a mainframe environment. Key Responsibilities - Analyze, develop, test, and maintain Mainframe applications. - Work on COBOL programs, JCL jobs, and DB2 database objects. - Perform impact analysis, coding, unit testing, and deployment activities. - Support batch processing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. - Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and cross-functional teams. - Handle production incidents and participate in release management activities. - Ensure compliance with banking security and regulatory standards. Required Skills - Strong experience in **COBOL, JCL, DB2**. - Experience in Mainframe application development and support. - Good understanding of batch processing and file handling. - Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization. - Knowledge of SDLC, Change Management, and Incident Management processes. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills - Exposure to **CICS**, VSAM, Endevor/Changeman. - Banking domain experience (Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Payments, Cards, Loans, Deposits). - Experience with Agile methodologies. Education - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
