Mainframe Tester

Job description

**Roles and Responsibilities :** - Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for mainframe applications using Cobol and JCL. - Collaborate with development teams to identify defects and provide detailed bug reports. - Develop automated tests using various testing tools to improve testing efficiency. - Analyze system logs and troubleshoot issues related to mainframe systems. **Job Requirements :** - 6-9 years of experience in mainframe testing with expertise in Cobol and JCL programming languages. - Strong understanding of mainframe application development life cycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. - Proficiency in one or more mainframe operating systems such as IBM System z/OS or UNIX. - Experience with automated testing tools like Automic or equivalent.
