Maintenance Engineer

Job description

**Role Overview :** We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with a background in Electrical/Electronics Engineering and hands-on experience in industrial/aerospace machinery maintenance. The role involves troubleshooting electrical systems, working with PLC-based automation, and ensuring reliable machine operations. **Key Responsibilities :** - Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of machinery - Troubleshoot electrical circuits, control panels, sensors, drives, and automation systems - Work on PLC programming, HMI, and control logic optimization - Handle systems operating on 24V DC, 110V & 230V AC - Maintain and support equipment like CNC machines, autoclaves, ovens, and test systems - Coordinate with production/mechanical teams to minimize downtime - Maintain proper documentation including preventive maintenance schedules, checklists, and ISO audit records - Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of equipment **Required Qualifications :** - Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering - 2–5 years of experience in machinery maintenance - Strong knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens / Allen-Bradley / Mitsubishi) - Experience in electrical panels, wiring, and circuit troubleshooting - Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams **Preferred Skills :** - Experience in aerospace or manufacturing environments - Exposure to VFDs, servo drives, safety systems, and industrial protocols - Knowledge of machine safety and EHS practices - Basic understanding of mechanical systems
