**Section III - Job Requirements and Responsibilities** **Section** **Details / Example Content** **Job Requirements\\*** The ManageEngine Monitoring Tools Administrator / Consultant is responsible for managing and optimizing enterprise monitoring platforms such as **Site24x7 or** **OpManager**. The role ensures high availability of IT infrastructure and applications by implementing proactive monitoring, alerting, automation, and reporting solutions across on-premise and cloud environments. **Key Responsibilities\\*** **1. Infrastructure Monitoring** - Configure and maintain monitoring for servers, databases, network devices, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and web applications - Deploy and manage Site24x7 / OpManager agents and monitoring templates - Ensure real-time visibility into infrastructure health and performance **2. Alerting & Threshold Management** - Configure thresholds, alarms, and notification policies - Reduce alert noise through optimized configuration profiles - Proactively detect performance degradation and outages **3. User Management & Access Control** - Create and manage roles (Admin, Operator, Read-Only, Custom roles) - Configure alert groups and escalation policies - Manage on-call schedules and access permissions **4. Automation & Incident Response** - Develop IT automation workflows for auto-remediation (service restarts, script execution) - Integrate monitoring tools with incident management systems - Improve incident response time and reduce manual effort **5. Reporting & Analytics** - Generate SLA, uptime, and performance reports - Analyze MTTR, incidents, and monitoring trends - Build dashboards and extract insights using SQL queries **6. Integrations & Ecosystem Management** - Integrate with ITSM tools such as ServiceDesk Plus, Jira - Integrate with collaboration tools like Slack, PagerDuty - Support enterprise monitoring ecosystem enhancements **Role & responsibilities** **Preferred candidate profile**
