About the Role We are looking for a Manager Controllership to lead and manage financial reporting, accounting, and audit-related activities. The ideal candidate is a qualified CA with experience in Financial Reporting and Accounting, preferably from a Fintech organization or a Big 4 firm, with strong SAP and advanced Excel skills. What you'll own: - Oversee end-to-end preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS / GAAP as applicable). - Ensure timely and accurate compliance with TDS and GST regulations, including return filings, reconciliations, and liaison with tax authorities/consultants. - Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy of books of accounts. - Drive the use of SAP for financial reporting, reconciliations, and process automation/optimization. - Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits; coordinate with external auditors and ensure closure of audit observations. - Establish and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and SOPs across the finance function. - Review and finalize balance sheets, PL statements, and cash flow statements. - Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements (Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST law, etc.). - Prepare MIS reports, budgets, variance analysis, and present financial insights to senior leadership. - Liaise with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as required. - Support management with financial planning, cost control initiatives, and process improvements. Who you are: - Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA). - 6+ years of experience in Financial Reporting, Accounting, or Controllership. - Prior experience in a Fintech organization or Big 4 firm (Accounting/Audit practice). - Strong understanding of Ind AS, financial statement preparation, and accounting controls. - Hands-on experience with SAP (mandatory). - Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting. - Experience managing statutory and internal audits. - Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
