Glenmark is seeking a dynamic and experienced **Manager Corporate Communications** to join our team in Mumbai. The role is ideal for individuals with 8-12 years of experience in corporate communications who are eager to make a significant impact in a global, fast-paced environment. As part of the global corporate communications team, the Manager will play a pivotal role in driving external communications and brand management, supporting Glenmark’s communication strategies, and enhancing the company’s reputation through compelling storytelling and messaging. **Responsibilities** - Lead and execute global external communications programs across India, Europe, Emerging Markets, and North America, ensuring strategic alignment with business priorities and regional market requirements. - Partner closely with cross-functional and international stakeholders to develop and deliver clear, consistent, and impactful messaging that strengthens brand positioning globally. - Collaborate with business leaders and key stakeholders to conceptualize and implement innovative communications and thought leadership initiatives that support corporate objectives and enhance brand visibility. - Own and drive the global public relations strategy, including planning, execution, agency management, and performance tracking to maximize strategic impact and business outcomes. - Build, nurture, and manage strategic relationships with media, journalists, and industry influencers to secure high-quality coverage and strengthen the organization's external profile. - Lead the development of compelling content including global press releases, executive communications, opinion articles, media statements, award submissions, and other long-form thought leadership assets. - Drive industry engagement and speaking opportunities through proactive outreach and partnership with leading trade and industry bodies, and relevant international associations. - Manage participation in key global industry events, conferences, exhibitions, and forums, ensuring effective visibility, stakeholder engagement, and alignment with business and communications goals. - Monitor media coverage, industry trends, and the competitive landscape, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations to enhance communication effectiveness and reputation management. - Lead corporate brand management initiatives, ensuring consistent and accurate application of brand strategy, messaging, visual identity, and communication standards across all external touchpoints and stakeholder interactions. **Preferred Experience and Capabilities** - 8–12 years of experience in Journalism, Public Relations, or Corporate Communications preferably within a multinational organization and/or the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences sector. - Exceptional storytelling, content development, and editorial skills, with the ability to translate complex business narratives into compelling communications for diverse stakeholder audiences. - Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities, with ability to collaborate across geographies, functions, and seniority levels. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to engage with and advise C-suite leaders and senior business stakeholders. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand and corporate communication standards. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, delivering high-quality outcomes in a dynamic, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment. - Experience in media relations, reputation management, and strategic communications planning, with a strong understanding of the global media landscape. - Strategic thinking skills and ability to align communication initiatives with broader organizational objectives. **What We Offer:** - A dynamic and collaborative work environment where you will be part of a globally respected brand - A unique opportunity to lead on global projects in key markets such as the U.S., Europe, and Emerging Markets, shaping the future of Glenmark’s communications strategy. - Opportunities for professional growth and development, including mentorship - A chance to shape and contribute to impactful projects that support the organization’s business goals and drive meaningful change. - A company culture that values teamwork, innovation, and a commitment to excellence.
