Our vision is to become the operating system for commerce in India through a combination of world-class infrastructure, high-quality logistics operations, and cutting-edge engineering and technology capabilities. **Location: Mumbai and Kolkata** **Department: Fleet Operations** **Role Overview Manager (Fleet Operations)** We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic professional to join our Fleet Operations team as a Manager / Senior Manager This role will be responsible for driving cost governance, network profitability, service performance management, and data-driven decision making across Delhiverys end-to-end logistics network (FTL, PTL, and Last Mile). The candidate will partner closely with Operations, Finance, Network Planning, and Vendor Management teams to ensure cost optimization, operational efficiency, and service excellence across the fleet ecosystem. The role also involves leading analytics initiatives, improving data integrity, and driving automation in fleet cost and performance management. **Key Responsibilities (KRAs)** Cost Governance & Profitability Management Own and drive freight and fleet cost governance across regions and service lines (FTL, PTL, Last Mile). Lead lane-level profitability analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimization and network efficiency. Monitor and eliminate cost leakages between proposed, approved, and actual freight costs through structured audits and controls. Partner with Finance teams to drive accurate cost forecasting and budgeting for fleet operations. Operational Performance & Network Analytics Track and improve service performance metrics including on-time reporting, route adherence, and delivery SLAs. Drive network performance analytics to identify operational bottlenecks and recommend scalable solutions. Build frameworks to optimize fleet utilization and route efficiency. Data & Business Intelligence Lead the development of advanced dashboards, MIS, and analytical reports for weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews. Utilize SQL and data analytics tools to extract insights and support strategic decision-making. Drive data integrity, automation, and standardization of fleet operations reporting. Stakeholder & Vendor Management Collaborate with Vendor Management, Finance, and Operations teams to validate and approve vendor payments and cost structures. Work closely with cross-functional leadership to design scalable fleet cost management frameworks. Support negotiations and vendor performance monitoring through data-backed insights. Process Improvement & Automation Identify opportunities to automate manual processes in fleet cost tracking and reporting. Implement data-driven operational improvements and cost optimization initiatives across the logistics network. **Skills & Qualifications** Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering, Commerce, Economics, Business Analytics, or related analytical field. 610 years of experience in logistics, supply chain analytics, fleet operations, or business analytics. Strong expertise in Excel / Google Sheets (advanced formulas, pivot tables, dashboards). Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools for large dataset management. Strong analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Experience in logistics network analytics, freight cost management, or supply chain optimization preferred. High ownership mindset with ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and influence decision-making.
