Job Description ( Job Title) **Manager Operations** **Experience:** 47 Years **Qualification:** Graduate (MBA Preferred) Job Summary Manage end-to-end yard and fleet operations by ensuring seamless vehicle movement, high customer service levels, process compliance, and timely execution of settlements, reporting, and system updates to achieve operational excellence. Key Responsibilities - Oversee daily yard operations, including vehicle placement, loading/unloading, and turnaround time (TAT). - Coordinate with the Control Tower, transporters, and drivers for smooth fleet movement. - Ensure timely POD collection, system updates, and operational documentation. - Manage customer communication and resolve operational escalations. - Monitor fleet availability and optimize vehicle readiness for loading. - Supervise yard safety, maintenance, and operational discipline. - Ensure timely trip settlements, driver verification, ledger updates, and finance reconciliation (cash/diesel). - Track operational KPIs, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions. - Prepare MIS reports and ensure compliance with company processes and SOPs. Requirements - Graduate in any discipline; MBA preferred. - 47 years of experience in logistics, fleet, yard, or transport operations. - Hands-on experience with TMS/ERP systems and MS Excel. - Strong understanding of fleet operations, settlements, and operational reporting.
