Job description

**Role Summary** The Manager – Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for driving supply chain effectiveness through data-driven analysis, digital initiatives, process improvement, and cross-functional project execution. The role focuses on optimizing supply chain performance, supporting technology-led transformation, improving planning and logistics efficiency, and enabling better decision-making through analytics and reporting. The incumbent will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to implement scalable, efficient, and innovative supply chain solutions. **Roles And Responsibility** - Develop and lead the inventory management strategy for Ashirvad in order to optimize inventory control procedures - Establish the inventory policies and norms for all raw materials as well as all products across all categories - Establish and track key inventory metrics such as in-stock rates, inventory accuracy, order fulfilment, aged inventory, overage/shortage, damaged etc. - Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures - Oversee key inventory management activities such as Inventory Reconciliation, Cycle Counting, WIP Replenishment, Physical Inventories vs. ERP Inventory matching, Inventory Adjustments etc. - Collaborate with sales forecasting, production and purchase to carry out inventory forecasting and monitor actual v/s forecast position regularly to ensure that the right inventory levels are maintained - Determine & maintain appropriate inventory and safety stock levels to mitigate risk of stock outs - Monitor, review and track inventory on a continuous basis by conducting / supervising routine audits of facility inventory on a scheduled basis to ensure target inventory levels are met - Undertake analysis such as trend analysis, inventory ageing etc. & provide reports to facilitate decision-making - Monitor monthly reporting on key inventory metrics, including data analysis, root cause and action plans - Keep abreast of latest industry trends and provide recommendations for best practices to be followed - Implement improvement processes to reduce inventory, minimize costs and maximize working capital **Role Specific Competencies** - Strong understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and operational planning. - Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and performance measurement. - Working knowledge of ERP systems and supply chain platforms such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar tools. - Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. - Ability to work with digital tools, automation, and analytical models. - Strong project management capability with the ability to manage multiple priorities. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strategic thinking with the ability to connect data, process, and business outcomes. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Collaboration and stakeholder management across functions and levels. - Ownership mindset with a proactive and result-oriented approach. - Adaptability and ability to work in a dynamic environment. - Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy. - Innovation mindset with a continuous improvement orientation.
