**Job Title :** **Manager Press Shop (Sheet Metal)** **Role Objective :** Lead and manage the press shop operations for sheet metal manufacturing, ensuring high-quality output, operational efficiency, safety compliance, and continuous improvement in line with organizational goals. **Key Responsibilities** - **Operations Management** - Oversee daily press shop activities including stamping, forming, and sheet metal processing. - Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and cost targets. - **Team Leadership** - Manage and mentor a team of engineers, supervisors, and operators. - Drive skill development, training, and performance management. - **Process & Quality Control** - Implement and monitor quality systems (ISO/TS standards). - Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects. - Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. - **Continuous Improvement** - Drive lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma initiatives. - Optimize machine utilization, reduce downtime, and improve productivity. - **Coordination & Reporting** - Collaborate with design, production planning, and maintenance teams. - Prepare MIS reports, production metrics, and performance dashboards for management review. **Qualifications** - B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering (mandatory). - 12+ years of experience in sheet metal press shop operations, preferably in automotive or heavy engineering industries. **Skills & Competencies** - Strong knowledge of sheet metal forming, stamping tools, and press machines. - Proficiency in lean manufacturing, TPM, and quality management systems. - Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage large teams and coordinate cross-functional activities. **Location** : Pithampur, MP
