Manager Security Engineering

Job description

Lead the Security Engineering function responsible for designing, building, integrating, and improving security controls and platforms across cloud, infrastructure, endpoint, data protection, and application security domains. Own the Security Engineering delivery roadmap and execution plan, ensuring alignment to enterprise architecture standards, risk priorities, and operational needs. Oversee Security Platform Engineering, including tool deployment, configuration, optimization, lifecycle management, integration, and automation. Drive engineering enablement for Application Security and DevSecOps, embedding security controls into CI/CD pipelines, secure SDLC practices, and engineering delivery models. Lead implementation of Data Protection engineering controls, including encryption standards, data loss prevention controls, and protection patterns aligned to business needs. Partner with IT and digital delivery teams to ensure security requirements are implemented consistently across transformation, modernization, and M&A initiatives. Collaborate with Cyber Defense Operations to ensure security platforms and controls are engineered for effective monitoring, detection, and response (e.g., logging, telemetry, alerting, and operational supportability). Coordinate with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) to ensure engineering controls support compliance obligations, audit evidence expectations, and documented standards. Establish engineering runbooks, build standards, configuration baselines, and operational handoffs to ensure controls are maintainable and effective over time.
